The welcoming spirit of Aggieland brings students from all walks of life together on campus. The campus community is vibrant, and with over a thousand student organizations, there is something for everyone.

Texas A&M Experience

The Aggie network is one of the largest in the nation with nearly 600,000 members. Distinguished by their Aggie Ring, former students can be found all around the world and are known to be incredibly welcoming and supportive towards other Aggies.

Texas A&M is set apart from other universities largely due to its rich history and many traditions. Most students take part in these traditions, which can be sorted into five categories: orientation, Aggie culture, The Corps of Cadets, gameday and remembrance.

As a member of the Southeastern Conference, Texas A&M has student athletes competing in 20 different sports. Collectively, fans of the Aggie athletic teams are known as the 12th Man, which boasts some of the largest student sections in the nation for many sports.

The Student Recreation Center, or "the Rec", provides students access to exercise equipment and intramural sports. Just a few activities that can be found here are rock climbing, basketball, volleyball, weight-lifting, and swimming.

The Memorial Student Center (MSC) is considered a living memorial to former students and is where guests come to relax, socialize, dine, study, and shop. The large number of social spaces and the central location on campus make the MSC a popular spot among students.

Free campus transportation is provided by the Aggie Spirit Bus. With eight on-campus routes and 12 off-campus routes, the Aggie Spirit Bus is a reliable form of transportation for all students to get to and from campus.
