What additional documents can I expect Texas A&M to require?

First-Time-in-College Students(requirements for students without college credit or those whose only college credit was earned prior to high school graduation — i.e. dual credit, AP/IB, or early college high school):

  • Self-Reported Academic Record(SRAR)— All First-Time-in-College Students must complete the SRAR with a few exceptions: applicants not completing high school in the United States and GED graduates (specific requirements and additional details available atSRAR FAQs如果你属于其中一个类别)。的选取f-Reported Academic Record lists the courses and associated grades that have been completed, or will be completed, for high school and/or college credit. It replaces the high school transcript used by the Office of Admissions during the initial admission process. Since accuracy is critical, it is best to create the SRAR by referencing an official high school transcript. Applicants will enter their courses, grades, class rank (if provided on transcript), weighted GPA, and graduation plan in the SRAR. Texas residents reporting a top 10 percent ranking on the SRAR must also provide verification of ranking by submitting an official high school transcript. The following applicants are required to submit a high school transcript:
    • Texas residents reporting a top 10 percent ranking on the SRAR must also provide verification of ranking by submitting an official high school transcript.
    • Applicants not completing high school in the U.S. will not submit a SRAR but must submit official or certified copies of all secondary school records and/or examination results. All academic records not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. SeeTexas A&M Admissionsfor more details.
    • GED graduates will not submit a SRAR but must submit their official GED transcript along with official partial high school transcript(s). The original certificate and transcript(s) may be sent bymailor hand delivered toAdmissions Customer Service.
    • Applicants who have already graduated high school must submit a SRAR and a final high school transcript.
  • Application Fee (Great news! There is no fee incurred by the students applying to the Texas A&M Engineering Academy program.)
  • Texas A&M Residency Questionnaire
  • Bacterial Meningitis Proof of Vaccination (if admitted)
  • Final High School Transcript (if admitted)
  • OPTIONAL: SAT/ACT Scores (These must be sent by the testing agency and not the high school.) Due to the continued lack of availability of in-person testing opportunities, Texas A&M will not require ACT or SAT scores for academy applicants in 2021 or 2022. Submitting test scores will not create any unfair advantage or disadvantage for the students who provide them.

Continuing College Students(requirements for students who have earned college creditsafterearning a high school diploma):

  • Official College Transcripts (Every institution the student attends — including institutions where dual credit was earned — must submit transcripts. Texas A&M prefers electronic submission by SPEEDE. Other acceptable methods for sending transcripts include electronic submissions by eSCRIP-SAFE, AVOW, and the National Student Clearinghouse, or by mail as permitted for Texas A&M transfer applicants. The mailing addresses can be found on theTexas A&M Admissions website.)
  • Application Fee (There is no fee incurred by the students applying to the Texas A&M Engineering Academy program.)
  • Texas A&M Residency Questionnaire
  • Bacterial Meningitis Proof of Vaccination (if admitted)
  • Final High School Transcript (if admitted)
